Oil prices were steady below $79

Oil prices were steady below $79 on Tuesday as the dollar gained on European sovereign risk worries and estimates for rising US crude and gasoline inventories capped prices.
US crude for April delivery was up 11 cents to $78.81 per barrel, while London ICE Brent rose 13 cents to $77.02. — Agencies
